Engineering Department

This department takes care of all technical aspects of the clients’ requirements. In most cases, the client will supply a layout drawing of their requirements. Our Engineering department then designs the refrigeration system to suit.
Careful attention is given to the latest international trends and environmental standards.
Systems are always designed to provide the client with the best solutions, balanced between cost, technology, and environment.
Matador prides itself in being able to supply designs for the smallest application to the bigger commercial/industrial refrigeration systems.
Our expertise is not restricted to the retail industry and can offer designs for various other sectors such as blast chillers/freezers, cold storage facilities, and any specialized refrigeration requirements.
We also have been instrumental in the design and installation of the first medium and low-temperature secondary systems for the retail industry in South Africa.
This department also has a fully operational CAD drawing facility that assists both clients and installations by providing information to all disciplines involved in the successful completion of contracts.

Installation Department

Matador Refrigeration has a large installation department consisting of a number of installation teams, headed up by our Installation Manager and one Commissioning Manager who facilitates the successful completion of all our valued clients’ requirements.
This department with the interaction of the Engineering Department ensures that Matador Refrigeration can offer the client reliable and efficient state-of-the-art installations.
Geographically we operate throughout South Africa.

Service Department

Matador Refrigeration has a very large service and maintenance department which is headed up by our Service Director and two Service Managers who control a number of service teams in the field.
This department maintains and services an extremely large number of retail and semi-industrial installations throughout the region. They provide the necessary support for the installations department and ensure that our clients are always taken care of in any situation that may arise.
Services are provided 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
